Indian tax law makes a business keep its books. So when a shop closes, its GST records — the bills it issued, the purchases it recorded, credit notes, the payments against them, and the customer and supplier details printed on those bills — are kept for as long as GST and income-tax law require, which is up to eight years. Nobody can open them: the shop stays closed, and they are held only to answer to the tax authorities.
If you were staff, the bills you made stay in the shop's books, because they are the shop's. Your name comes off them and they say Deleted user.
Everything else the shop held beyond those records is deleted when the 30 days are up.
So that a request you did not make — somebody else with your phone for a minute — can be undone. If you did not ask for this, or you have changed your mind, contact us before the date and we will stop it.
